Forest School

We have an amazing forest school area, a REAL woodland copse, which is just up the road from the school. We have been kindly donated the use of this area by a member of the local community and thank him greatly for this wonderful provision.

Class 1 and Preschool visit the woodland for weekly sessions. Class 2 and 3 will have opportunity to visit throughout the year.


During holiday times we have been offering Forest School sessions for preschool children and their parents. They are held on a Wednesday morning, 9.30am-11.30am. £2.00 to include snacks. To find out when the next session is and to book please contact the school.

Children will need to attend in appropriate outdoor clothing, with warm, layered clothing underneath. Wellies or sturdy boots are essential. Bringing a change of clothes is a good idea. Expect them to get muddy! 

Snack will include hot chocolate for the children and a hot drink for parents.
